Theatre of Operations will present The Burning Ode at the Nanci Raygun, 929 W. Grace St., Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 at 5:00pm and Sunday, May 2 at 4:00pm.

Theatre of Operations' first show of 2004 is a Richmond premiere created by the company from text by Charles Mee.

Today the lines are blurring. Borders between people, countries, cultures, and genders are coming down. People are often disconnected and unsure of there place in a quickly changing society. The Burning Ode takes an impassioned and often humorous look at the ways three people cross these borders and explore the liminal space that is modern society.

April Johnson, Jessie Wenner, and Slade Billew appear in the show under Billew¹s direction.

Tickets will be available at the door for $5.
